I'm in the process of pricing our trip next July and making estimates, so I just wanted a general consensus on what show you guys would like to see when we go. Bear in mind, some of these shows may have closed by the time we go ( sadly, Beauty & the Beast cofirmedly so ) so we may have to tweak our itinerary by the time we get closer to the trip. But, for the time being, these are all the musicals currently on Broadway: 110 in the Shade The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee Avenue Q Chicago A Chorus Line The Color Purple Company Curtains The Drowsy Chaperone Grey Gardens Hairspray Jersey Boys Legally Blonde Les Miserables The Lion King Lovemusik Mamma Mia! Mary Poppins Monty Python's Spamalot The Phantom of the Opera The Pirate Queen RENT Spring Awakening Tarzan Wicked Xanadu Of the shows I've seen, the ones I would reccomend most are The Drowsy Chaperone (which was the funniest show I've ever seen) and Wicked (which was just plain amazing, but you knew that). Of the ones I haven't seen, the ones that interest me most are Avenue Q, Hairspray, Les Miz, Spamalot, RENT, and Spring Awakening. Just drop in and give your two cents here. And if you need any information on a particular show, feel free to ask, I'll be glad to tell you.

I've seen: Hairspray. And it's AMAZING.
So either that, Avenue Q, Drowsy Chaperone, or Wicked. Or RENT. Or Spamalot. Yeah.

Anything relatively risque probabaly won't work out because I know some FNY parents are strict. So, in actuality, Avenue Q and RENT probabaly aren't options. Spamalot's iffy, too, but it might just squeak by....

It has some cussing and some sexual stuff in it, but I'm pretty sure most parents would be okay with it.

If I'm thinking of the right musical, I don't think Spring Awakening fits into the "family friendly" category either....
I just want to see anything with orchestra. No pop/rock combo deal....

Spring Awakening is amazing but, yeah, its not family friendly, either.

Well, Tarzan's out (it closed July 8).
I would like to see Wicked or if not that The Lion King. I've seen The Lion King on Broadway Tour and it was a breathtaking show. Oh, and by the time the trip is starting, The Little Mermaid and Grease (Revival) will be on Broadway if anyone would like either of those, LOL at TLM, although it's probably gonna be good.
