There's not 1 building in Greensboro I'd consider to be tall. Agreed. It's not a "big city" by any means - their downtown is about 5 blocks by 10 blocks... But compared to Thomasville, whose tallest structure is Rich Fork Baptist Church, and the most recognizable landmark is "the chair," Greensboro is huge! For me, taller isn't always better. As long as it's urban, interacting with the street, and cohesive with its surroundings, it's fantastic! I'm a big fan of the huge historic theater in Greensboro. I saw Peter Pan there last summer. Balcony Seats'D!

I found my first; it is from two years ago, when I just first how to make buildings. I sometimes don’t bother adding textures and always use a white background with black lines. It looks orderly and more professional that way. I use Vue to render. I think my friend uses something called Bryce, but her renderings usually suck. Height is always important, it's what makes NY NY, yet yeah, generally, I’d rather have a sleek, classy, 1,000-foot-tall crystalline building with a sexy base if given the choice between that and a 1,500-foot-tall black box with a horrible base.

9/10; I'd have it built but the only thing that hurts the design is the massive hollow circle at the top. I may have added bracing or turned it into a hexagon shape with straignt lines since it looks like an evil genius is about to stick his massive earth-destroying ray-gun outta the hole. Is it for stained glass? I think you can do that with sketchup because you can make colored transparent glass. Sadly, my new computer isn't good with this program, but I am playing around with shapes and stuff for ideas. Buildings need structure showing.

Basically, you draw a circle/square/rectangle/random polygon on a surface. Then select it and delete it.

NO! You select it and use the Ketchup tool.
You select it and use the paintbucket tool, make the colors transparent, like a glass blue, and color it in. You can add mass to walls and windows too by using the push/pull tool.
