So, I have a real New Yorker who's staying in my house for the next few days (she's a family friend), and she's lived in the city since she was little. She can't answer questions about theatre or acting, but she can answer questions about the city itself and everyday living there. I'm planning on making a video Q & A with her to post on YouTube, and I already have quite a few questions to ask her, but I thought you guys could post your questions for her on this thread, if you have any.
(P.S. Also, I'm sure Ebola could answer ton of your questions, too, so you could just PM him or post here and wait for him to reply.)

That video idea is really cool. You need like background music and such. Who is this family friend, do I know her?

Her name's Sandy, and she's a missionary in NYC. I don't think you've met her...

I know too much about the damn city. I was born in Brooklyn and have lived within the city for my entire life. There's a cool forum I joined (mainly b/c they get early renderings of towers sometimes ) and the people there could answer any question about NY. I don't have the link because I'm on my new computer, but I'm sure it will pop up somewhere as an ad on this website (FNY). I've seen it here at least once before. I think it's called Wired NY.
