THX, Joy and Maria. I feel a bit better, LOL.
Oh, they've already given me homework, Merlin's beard (yes, true sign of a Harry Potter geek, I know). Not summer reading!

I agree with Joy. If you really don't care about her that way, dump her! Internet relationships aren't that serious anyway (unless you're on eHarmony I guess) and she's probably flirting with other guys like you're flirting with other girls, so what's the point of the relationship if it's not taken seriously? Keaton, if you're only "dating" her so you can tell people that you have a girlfriend or something like that, its wrong. Web, good luck finding that hot, smart, and funny nice girl in middle school. They're hard to come by. But being "hot" shouldn't be the first thing you look for. If you were dating someone who wasn't "HOTT" but was everything else you wanted, would you still want to be with her? um i'm not sure if i still would but i hope im not shallow because of this but it does matter to me how they look

How about six novels, (five of which are nonfiction), five summarized articles, a 500-word essay, a reading journal, thirty math problems, and a list of up to possibly 800 definitions? That's homework, Keaton. *is bitter* Teehee - Merlin's beard.

ok well this is a pretty serious question. what is more important, maintaining good releationships with your freinds, or pleasing your teachers? normally i would say freinds but what if that means getting in trouble with a teacher?

As long as your friends aren't total retards, those two shouldn't coincide. However, if you can tell the teacher is angry at you for some reason, then you should stop what you're doing. Discipline is kinda stricter in middle school than elementary. LOL. What did YOU have when you were going to 6th Grade, HM, Joy? A lot less than I do now.

I agree with Joy on the TEACHERS VS. FRIENDS question.
If your friends are being immature and hurting you in any way, you should definitely worry about what the teachers have to say.

TORI'S HERE!
Ok, so seeing as I just finished Middle School,
ADVICE TIME!!!!
First off:
I think I'm pretty, yes? Well in Middle School, I was constantly called ugly. It sucked for me, but it could be different for you but,
NUMBA 1: Don't you EVER pick on someone! No matter WHAT they look like or say or do. And don't do because your friends are. It's not "cool." It's mean. And Tori will come after you if you do.
NUMBA 2: Keaton, saying that girls don't like smart guys is the BIGGEST stereotype EVER. Honey, (most) girls aren't stupid (besides the preps), they'll want a guy who is smart and not a mud slinger. NO STEREOTYPES. BAD KEATON.
NUMBA 3: Oh the workload. I was in all AL classes, so my workload was OUTRAGEOUS. I don't know what yours will be, but mine sucked.
NUMBA 4: Friends. Choose these wisely. For often your teachers will associate you with them. Not to mention the rest of the school. If they do something bad, the teachers might suspect you. I'm sorry, but that's life. If your friends are jerks, to you OR others, they're not worth it. Find some real friends. And you know that WE have your back.
NUMBA 5: Girls. Well this should be your last worry. School work. Then teachers. Then GOOD friends. Then (maybe) girls. PLEASE only go after a girl that you ACCTAULLY like. If the girl likes you, it might make you feel cool, BUT DON'T DATE THEM UNLESS YOU LIKE THEM BACK. You will be MISERABLE. Don't go after girls just for the sake of "having a girlfriend," because that's not cool, or attractive. If you date a girl that you don't like, then dump her for a girl that you DO like, Sparks WILL fly. And it will not be pretty.
FYI: Middle School relationships hardly ever work out. I just had my first "real" serious relationship this year. The ones I had in 7th grade were, for lack of a better word, pointless.
So just, choose wisely? Yeah, I guess that sums it up.
And if you ever want advice, come to me!

NUMBA 1: Don't you EVER pick on someone! No matter WHAT they look like or say or do. And don't do because your frieds are. It's not "cool." It's mean. And Tori will come after you if you do. Oh my god, I can't believe I forgot to mention this. There might be a situation where people are making fun of you, but you can make fun of someone else of lower social status than you to distract them and make yourself feel better. DON'T. That's one of the worse things you can ever do to someone. You're theatre kids, so I don't think you'll make that choice, but still DO NOT DO THAT. Also, if someone is sitting by themselves and reading, DON'T SIT WITH THEM. Maybe they just want to read their freaking book and don't want stupid people pitying them. -_-

Well, from my perspective, in high school most of the relaxed, carefree, fun people became perpetually distressed, self-important wannabe adults who never entertain a thought about...well...anything. Thinking in high school is not at a;ll fashionable. Not fun at all. I've recently had a month to spend every day on a college campus, and all the students I spoke with would say that the high school years were the worst years of their life. The same opinion was shared by several of my high school TEACHERS. Very seldom does one come across a high school student whose field of vision extends beyond the tip of their own nose. Okay. I can now officially say with experience that I can't stand college kids. Stupid freaking drunk hippies.

Well, I'm just saying that Allan's views are a bit generalized. Thinking is not "unfashionable" at all at my school. Yeah, we're probably a bit pretentious and self-important, but not to the extent Allan is describing. Besides, I'd take arrogant smart people over arrogant stupid people any day.

Guilford College somehow relates to Middle School? Hm...
Middle School's gone pretty good for me so far. No crushes, though.
