The Molly Weasley scene would have been better in my mind if it didn't make SO much more sense for Neville to be the one to take Bellatrix out. Neville had gotten his badass-ness already, I guess... But it was still a frickin' awesome scene. fireworkfiasco.livejournal.com/78452.html#cutid2read this, it's awesome.

That mini-essay thingie does a good job of explaining why what Neville did in DH was so awesome (which it definitely was), but I still don't understand why he couldn't have done both...

Very sad, very sad indeed. This definitely affects how I see Dumbledore as a character.
BTW, there's no point to it. It doesn't advance the plot at all or make it any better. Oh well, and LOL at Dumblewald.

It kind of makes the whole "Dumble's past" subplot a lot more poignant... I'm going to reread DH when I get home.
I've always been against the Dumbledore's gay theory, just cause DumbleHarry squicks me so bad. Still, I'm surprised that I didn't see this coming... It's kinda cute, actually.
At least it disproves Dumblegonagall. ew.

His love for Grindelwald causing him to do all those wicked things, it makes so much sense!
I'm just waiting for someone to make dumbledoreisnotgay.com

LOL. I might just make that, Tyler. I already have one piece of evidence.
Dumbledore danced with McGonagall at the Yule Ball.

He was in the closet, though, Keaton... Should this be in the debate thread?

He was in the closet, though, Keaton... Should this be in the debate thread? he... wasnt in the closet. He just danced with another teacher. It's not like Dumbledore's going to go around screaming "I AM GAY." If Harry wanted to know, Dumbledore would tell him. He's probably not ashamed of being gay, but just of what he did because of Grindewald.

The wizarding world is full of intolerance. I wonder if sexuality is as big of an issue as blood status.

Not what I had in mind either.
A one hour show? Two people? Quidditch match involving the audience? It doesn't even look like it will have a definite story. It said it will contain "ELEMENTS from the books." How can they do that with two people?
Very disappointing. Very disappointing indeed.
