whoa, I just got a look at this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Potter_and_the_Deathly_Hallows#Information_from_Rowling"Now, the important thing about Harry's mother - the really, really significant thing - you're going to find out in two parts. You'll find out a lot more about her in book five, or you'll find out something very significant about her in book five, and you'll find out something incredibly important about her in book seven." [43]" "..there is a little bit more to Aunt Petunia than meets the eye...She is not a squib, although that is a very good guess. Oh, I am giving a lot away here. I am being shockingly indiscreet." "However, on the set of the Order of the Phoenix film, she remarked; "Dumbledore's giving me a lot of trouble". When asked "But isn't he dead?" by Daniel Radcliffe, she explained; "Well, yeah, but it's more complex ...."[58]" " * Lord Voldemort was voted best villain at the Big Bad Read poll. Responding to the news Rowling commented: "I hope those of you who voted for him in the big bad read enjoy reading about him in book seven, where he finally gets the leg room for which he has been aching all those years in exile."[59]" OMG I AM LIKE SO TOTALLY HYPED U GUYS. edit: when I look back on these posts, a year from now, I'm going to cry, cry, cry and shake my head sadly.

Wow, I can't wait. Swoosh, your Stupefy theory sounds really good, especially because it would most definitely tie in with the non-verbals in the book. It seems like whatever the students learn in classes (excluding Umbridge's of course, lol) they end up using in the last-three-to-five-chapters conflict.
So, what does everyone think the Deathly Hallows are?
I personally think it something to do with the Veil in the Department of Mysteries. I can't wait to see the veil in the new movie, I hope they make it mysterious and creepy! I don't know if the Deathly Hallows is the actual place beyond the veil, or if the Deathly Hallows are tangible (or even intangible) objects located behind the veil. Or perhaps the Deathly Hallows are the people behind the veil whose voices can be heard by Harry and Luna.
I listened to a sneak preview of the OOTP soundtrack (it's not John Williams, my hero, but it's still pretty good) and there's a choir cue for the veil scene in the movie. So my friend and I suspect that when someone passes through the veil, they are condemned to an eternal service of choral singing, lol.

MY THEORIES
OK I think that Harry himself IS a horcrux but at the end of the book harry and voldemort will duel, voldemort will cast the killing cures but snape will jump in front of him and save harry. harry will then escape and then realize that he is a horcrux and he kills himself and voldemort dies but harry is put in a monument and wizards and zitches from around the world come to honor him.

I agree, except for:
Harry being a Horcrux AND Harry dying
JKR would not kill off Harry. She has said before that, "Harry is like a part of her."
She will not kill him, Web.

You know, I thought Harry dying was pretty plausible. UNTIL JK announced the Harry Potter theme park. I'm not saying that business deals with Universal will cause Jo to completely change her story (she's known the ending since she conceived the idea in the mid 90s). But, given the fact that the series will live on through this theme park, it most certainly cannot live on without its title character. Sure, Harry could die. But I don't think Jo would agree to a theme park if she were planning on killing Harry.

I believe (and I think it's been said somewhere) that you can say a spell IN YOUR MIND say a different one and the one you say in your mind will be the one casted.
Great theory, Swoosh! *claps*

harry will then escape and then realize that he is a horcrux and he kills himself and voldemort dies but harry is put in a monument and wizards and zitches from around the world come to honor him. Oh yeah Web, those Zitches are hard core. ;D Anywho, Tori thinks that Snape be good and killed Dumblydoor on his orders, because when Draco be about to kill Dumbles, he says, "There are things worse than death," and why would someone who said that beg for his life? When he says, "Please Snape," I don't think he's saying please don't kill me, I think he's saying please DO kill me. Please DO kill me as we planned. T.O.R.I = Harry Potter Geek Who wants to from a cult/ fan club? OMG I MAKE NEW THREAD! AND OMG LOOK AT THIS: "Asked which five of her characters she would like to invite to dinner, she chose Harry, Hermione and Ron, but then hesitated before choosing her last characters, saying "See... I know who's actually dead," unsure whether she was permitted to invite those who are 'dead'." Does that mean she's saying that Harry, Ron, and Hermione DON'T die? OMG. And I think Ginny will die.

I hope Hagrid-poo doesn't die. ;_;

I never cared for Hagrid. Probably due to his speech problems. I'd be sad, but not THAT sad to see Hagrid go. It'd be much better than Ginny or the Trio dying.

....
I SHALL SMITE ALL THAT BLASPHEME AGAINST HAGRID-POO.
Seriously, how can you hate Hagrid? C'mon, a slightly alcoholic lovable old half-giant who smuggles dragons and giant tarantulas!? Hagrid is just... the most lovable character in the series. Besides Voldie. And Dumbledore. Who died.
I can't stand Ginny, personally. She's so... ho'ish. Harry x Ginny is just so... random... There were no hints supporting it until book six. (well, I guess you could count book two...but...)
Well...I was thinking... the one weapon that Harry has over Voldemort is love... So the climax can only be one thing:
Harry giving Voldemort a BIIIIG HUUUG and him either a)screaming in pain then dying or b)becoming Harry's BFF for life! ^-^
Dude, that would be hardcore.

Harry's SCAR is a Horcrux, but Wormtail will tell him how to get rid of it wiithout killing himself, to pay off his life debt. That's my theory, anyways. And Joy's hug theory made me laugh so hard...
