Plain and simple...CTG vs. Drama Center. I know that I'm the only CTG loyalist who's an active poster here so...everyone versus me. YAY!
Discuss.
Let's start with the Great Divide...

What's that I hear? It's the ranting that shall happen in this thread...Oh gosh. I shall defend CTG to the very end of the war.

the hell is drama center? GCT, Livestock and Greensboro Playwright's Forum. Personally, Drama Center has sucked since Barbara left, but before that, it totally whupped CTG's butt. Plus LYT owns both of them.

Don't forget 3rd Stage, Swoosh. And the film group...Forgot their name.
CTG performs more shows and more musicals at that.

I'm the only person who's posted in this thread who's done a CTG show (besides Tori, she was in Harlequin back in the day).

YAY! ME TOO!
Back on topic...
Ah yes, the Great Divide. When CTG and Drama Center where one. "Supposedly" they split and a CTG Executive took all the set pieces and costumes for CTG AND re-routed all funds to CTG. Because of this legend, Drama Center has hated CTG with a passion ever since.

and uh, hun arent you a little young to audition for HIGH SCHOOL musical?......plus even if you did, just based on height (this has nothing to do with talent, if it was on talent i know for a fact they would cast you <3's!) im not sure they would cast you.....

He's too old to try out for High School Musical.
Everyone over the age of three is too old for High School Musical.

Kathleen, when CTG did Grease 4 years ago, they put Middle Schoolers in the High School. They don't have enough High Schoolers who audition, so they add Middle Schoolers into the High School chorus. No one cares or notices.
Second of all, even if I'm not a schoolkid, there are basketball spectators, decathlon spectators, ski lodge goers, etc.
There are plenty of non-highschool roles in the show. Just because it's called "High School Musical" doesn't mean there aren't roles for kids and adults.
That was off-topic.
