well this has nothing to do with adoption BUT
i think that there are certain circumstances where aborition is appropriate and in certian circumstances:
1) the mothers life is in danger 2) the baby would have a terrible life and it would be more of a punishment on its self for the child to live rather than die 3) rape, only if the person is under 18 4) if they determine that the child is going to have many issues due to something like a mothers alchohl or drug addiction then i think that would be ok if it would be terrible for the baby to live (and i dont even know if they can do that, but if they can or when they can i think thats ok lol)

ger the baby would have a terrible life and it would be more of a punishment on its self for the child to live rather than die WHY WOULDN'T ADOPTION WORK? ? I would have had a terrible life if i had not been adopted. I really think that a person can live a whole and meaningful life when they are adopted. Imagine if i have not been adopted and i was killed through abortion instead. you would not know me. On the other points though, i totally agree

I still think that if someone is raped, their baby should have a chance at life.
My cousin was raped, a horrible experience, and it was by someone she knew, someone she trusted... She got pregnant, but instead of aborting the baby, she went through with it and found hope and God's love in the baby.
Who's to say that the "rape baby" wasn't a life that God planned? God gives us life, it's wrong for us to play God.
Or if you refuse to think of that, let's say that your "rape baby" grew up to be 25 or so, and you had to tell them that you were planning on ending their life before they had a say in it? Do you think they'd say "Oh, I understand."

Anyway, I think that no child or pregnancy is purely "accidental", because even if you weren't planning it, who's to say that that person was not meant to live in God's eyes?
Imagine all of the world's great doctors and political leaders that were killed before being born!
Saying abortion is okay is like me taking all the babies born from irresponsible teenagers and people who didn't want a child, and killing them. I can say that they were never planned, never thought of, and their lives would be horrible. Even if all those were true, would you shoot a baby?
Have you ever seen a PICTURE of an abortion? It's ripping off the little itty-bitty limbs of a fetus. Do you want a picture? And don't argue that you just don't want to see it, because that's like saying "I'll eat the burger, I just wont meet the cow."
Whenever I think of abortion, I just remember Randi and I think about how my life would be different if I didn't know her. She might not have been thought of by her parents, but she has a life, she has friends, God had a plan for her, and if you go by your argument that those unborn babies don't, then it's the same thing for Randi. And I don't believe that.

well, if an aborition is had who is to say that that is not what god wanted? no one can TRULEY say if he wants that or not, bcuz we are not him we dont know what he thinks (or 100%)

And in the Bible, God says He is the author of life. I agree that we can't know whether or not God wants a baby to live or not, but God can take care of it himself if He has other plans. We shouldn't decide for Him.

If God is really in control of everything, we're not playing God. We're tools meant to play out what he intended.

Okay, God has plans for everyone, and sometimes His plans are never followed, but that doesn't mean the He didn't have them, it just means that nobody consulted Him first before making a decision or something. Sometimes a person's life is cut short against God's plans, and sometimes it's not... but deciding ANYONE'S death is playing God. Deciding who lives and who doesn't is playing God. Saying that you know exactly how your baby's life will play out and that you don't want it to live is playing God. Don't make me bring out my hardcore comparison that may offend some people

Fetuses are alive, and no matter what you want to argue, I will never budge from my assertion that they are as human as a newborn baby and as human as you and me. Because I value human life, I am pro-life.
